Adam Brock

The young British artist and photographer Adam Brock is already feted in London for the sensitivity of his mixed media and photographic creations. Adam Brock was brought up in Lincolnshire, but sent away to board at the age of eight. His unhappiness at school, where he was bullied, encouraged him to look inwards for inspiration and he spent increasing amounts of time in his various schools' art rooms, pottery studios and dark rooms. Adam Brock's parents separated during his childhood and, without a strong father figure, he was inspired by a number of charismatic art and photography teachers at school. On leaving school he travelled around the world for a year with a friend, practising his photography and gaining inspiration from the different cultures and landscapes through which he passed before undertaking an artistic degree at one of England's prestigious universities. His education now complete, Adam Brock is making a career as a professional artist and photographer.
