Gabriel Deschamps

Gabriel Deschamps was born in 1919 and studied at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris. He became a member of the Paris Autumn Salon from 1939 and acquired a notable reputation for his beautiful paintings of the coastline of the south of France and the landscape of Provence, where he had a house. Deschamps exhibited his work around the world and his original paintings were sold to collectors in many countries including particularly in the United Kingdom, America and Western Europe.
