This engraver and designer was born in Aix-en-Provence in 1850. He studied under Marius Reynaud in Aix and under Gaucherel in Paris. He is now best known for his superb engravings of views of London, Paris, Marseilles, Scotland, Venice and Rome, which gained many awards in the 1890s.
