Theodore Hines

Theodore Hines was a London landscape painter and brother of Frederick Hines, who was also an active landscape painter of the Victorian era. Theodore Hines flourished as an artist between 1875 and 1897 and is particularly well known for his paintings of the Royal Berkshire villages situated by the River Thames. These villages were within easy reach of his own home in London. During his lifetime, Theodore Hines exhibited his work at the Royal Academy, the Society of British Artists at Suffolk Street and at Grosvenor Galleries.
