Kate Knight

Kate Knight was born and brought up in Edinburgh. She holds an Honours Degree from Duncan Jordanstone College of Art & Design and a Masters in Textile Design from Heriot-Watt University, and now makes a living as a professional designer, known particularly for the vibrancy and youthful nature of her artwork. She enjoys particularly working with bold and bright colours and, although her first love has always been floral designs, she now also enjoys producing artwork covering subject matter ranging from cityscapes to animals. She produces her artwork on paper before scanning the imagery into her computer, which allows her to combine her photographic and hand-drawn imagery into a single piece of work. Her artwork is now found on products ranging from fine art prints to tabletop products.
