John Fitz Marshall

John Fitz Marshall was born in 1859 and became a prominent oil painter of animals, landscapes and flowers. He was educated at Croydon and, whilst his works are relatively rare, he exhibited fairly widely during his lifetime, including at the Royal Academy between 1883 and 1903. Marshall was elected a Member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1896. He died in September 1932.
