Breon O'Casey was born in London in 1928.
He studied at the Anglo-French Art Centre and, subsequently, became an Assistant to both Denis Mitchell and Dame Barbara Hepworth. He is closely linked with the School of St Ives through his friendship with the leading artists who were his contemporaries. He still lives and works in Cornwall.
His work has been the feature of numerous articles for prestigious publications, ranging from Country Living to The Sunday Times Magazine. He has also illustrated a number of noted books and exhibited at over 50 shows around the world, ranging from prestigious London galleries to Tate Gallery St Ives and his work has been shown frequently in both Ireland and America.
Breon O'Casey's work is held in public collections ranging from The Art Council of Great Britain to The Tate Gallery.
