Graham Petley

Graham Petley's reputation in this country and overseas is both well founded and growing. Born in Chelmsford, Essex, in 1944, he was educated at the local technical college and his early career covered a variety of occupations from window dressing to deep-sea fishing. However, in the early 1970s he began to deal in fine art and to develop his own talent as a painter. Now commissioned by collectors all over the world, and especially from those in Britain and the Middle East, he paints mostly in oils and concentrates particularly on depictions of the traditional English countryside.
