Guillaume Seignac

Guillaume Seignac was a prominent painter of genre scenes in France in the 19th century. He was born in Rennes and was a pupil of the eminent artist, Bouguereau. He was also inspired by the work of Tony Robert-Fleurry and Gabriel Ferrier. Seignac exhibited at the Salon, where he received an Honourable Mention in 1890 and a Third Class Medal in 1903.
