Don Tyler

Don Tyler comes from a background in textile and fabric design, but now makes his living as a freelance artist, designer and illustrator, working on products ranging from home furnishings to greetings cards and fine art prints. Born in 1969 in Winchester, he knew from a young age that he wanted to make a career in the world of art and, having completed his degree, accepted a position with a large manufacturer of textiles. Although enjoying the job, he sought more variety in his career and, when his office was relocated, he took the decision to go freelance rather than move to a new area of the country. Since then, his work has appeared on an increasing number of products, including those of his old company, and he is now also working on exhibitions of themed artwork for local galleries. Don Tyler is married with one child and lives in the South West of England.
