Jenny Tsang

Jenny Tsang was born and brought up in an unspoilt village in the Northern Territories of Hong Kong. Her childhood love of art was first inspired by the works of Chinese calligraphers in the New Territories, many good feng-shui calligraphic decorations were produced for the entrances to town halls and temples, particularly during the Chinese New Year celebrations, and the beauty of these persuaded the young Jenny Tsang to take up the craft herself. She moved to the United Kingdom in the early 1980s, where most of her schooling was undertaken, and took a course at an art college in the North West of England. She then trained as a textile designer at University, prior to making a successful career as a stylist and designer. Jenny Tsang's art is produced generally from a combination of gouache and watercolour.
