Armenonville - This image was produced around 1912 and depicts the renowned restaurant "Armenonville", which was opened on Avenida del Libertador General San Martin located in Buenos Aires. There was even a tango named after the restaurant. The restaurant flourished between 1910 and 1920 and the Management introduced the restaurant as a luxurious restaurant in the style and comfort of the Paris scene. With its French touch, it catered to the Buenos Aires High Society and soon it would become a well-known night spot. It consisted of the great terrace, open areas, a shaded garden, and the house special was the barbecued lamb, enjoyed in the greenhouse full of orchids.
