In his "Atlas Of Fantasy" J.B.Post tells us: "The realm of Faerie is a strange shadow land, lying, according to some, just over the edge of the world, beyond the fields we know, in the border marches of Chaos. The land has been mapped many times but with an impertinence it shares with its inhabitants, never seems to be the same twice." The "Anciente Mappe of Fairyland" is lavish and attractive and incorporates mythology, folklore, legends and literature to produce a monumental view. The map is created in the Art Nouveau style and comprises a panoramic view of many islands incorporating features and characters from mythological and children's literature as diverse as Peter Pan, Cinderella, King Arthur, Little Boy Blue, Rapunzel, dwarves, elves, dragons, nymphs, satyrs, centaurs and much much more.
