Artist Biography:

The School of Padua takes its inspiration from the rare and unique contents of a library in the Palazzo Montelfini in the Padua region of northern Italy. The library is an exceptional archive of historical documents which have been collected by the Montelfini family since the C17th. The family have always had a great interest in acquiring unusual and decorative pieces from Greek and Roman antiquities to Renaissance and Baroque architectural designs and plans. The present family continues to add to their extensive collection to this day.
