Laszlo Moholy-Nagy

 

Artist Biography:

László Moholy-Nagy was originally born under the name of Laszlo Weisz in 1895. He was a Hungarian painter and photographer as well as a professor in the Bauhaus School. He was highly influenced by constructivism and a strong advocate of the integration of technology and industry into the arts. He died aged 51 in 1946 and his cousin was the conductor, Sir Georg Solti.
